Started in radio in 1977! Back then? Websites...no. Email? No. Texting? No. Turntables? Yes! Reel To Reel Tape? Yep! Records? Yep! Things have changed a little since then but I enjoy radio what it was then and what it is now
I have grown up on music. Starting out with mom & dad's 45s listening to Paul & Paula, Lee Dorsey, Bobby Day and the like out of the late 1950's & early 1960's. I cut my teeth on pop music, loved the rock music of the 1980s but as I progress on this musical journey I find that I am liking different music and then I got struck by lightening. Blues ligh
I have several episodes of the Discover Channel's Deadliest Catch to watch still including the Social Reloads. The things that the captains, their crews, and their equipment have to go thru is stressful, painful and will wear a man down
Sometimes going thru my record collection is like going on an archeological dig. Since we are in the dog days of summer I thought I would dig up this summer classic!
Malo was an American Latin- tinged rock and roll group
Finely tuned athletes. Superstars of physical strength, agility, and grace. Athletes from all over the world are competing in London on the track and field, the sand courts, hard courts, mats and pools
The 2012 Olympic games are just about half way over. Michael Phelps is now the most decorated Olympic athlete ever 22 Olympic medals 18 of them gold. But when the torch is extinguished in a couple of weeks and the closing ceremonies are done what in the world will Michael Phelps do?
Will Michael get a house in the suburbs and live a normal life like the rest of us? Will Michael sell his story and become a best selling author and then get tons of money for the rights to his story for a movie? Probably
Get ready to flashback to the 1980's this Friday night at Jack-sons in Richland! This is gonna be a crazy party as The Fixx is coming! This 80's band had HUGE MTV hits such as One Thing Leads To Another, Are We Ourselves, Red Skies At Night, and more! The band is out on the road supporting their 11th album entitled Beautiful Friction
A weekend to relax! A Perfect summer night! Our Tri Cities Dust Devils playing a great game of baseball at GESA stadium. Who doesn't like a night of baseball? What a great way to unwind, eat sunflower seeds or a snow cone and watch dancing?
Yep! The grounds crew at GESA stadium comes out just about the 5th inning to straighten up the infield and on some nights it's just the kids with rakes but some nights are extra special especially when they are joined by Eric The Peanut Guy
I feel like something fun & funky to set the mood for the weekend. Break out the tiki torches, call some friends over, beverages on ice and the grill is fired up! Now it's time for some great music!
Sly & The Family Stone ruled the airwaves from the late 1960's to the mid 1970's with their fusion of funk, soul, rock & a little psychedelic.

It is summertime and as we are enjoying the warmer weather so are nature's creatures including the most despised and hated creature of them all the wasp!
I was non-nonchalantly working on my pool last night back washing the filter when I thought to myself well there are a couple of wasps hanging around here little buggers.
All of a sudden I was swarmed by at least 50 of the little s
Summertime is here and it is always fun to invite your friends over for a pool party to enjoy the great weather and relax and let the water wash your worries away.
Every once in awhile though you do end up with an uninvited guest
Well another Water Follies is in the can. We'll see all our friends next year. It was another successful event with everyone having fun for 2 days watching planes, hydroplanes, babes, boys, and rooster tails
The sport of hydroplanes got started when somebody decided to put an airplane engine in an aerodynamically designed boat. Thee boats were the kings of the rivers traveling at speeds of over 100 mph or more
