Born and raised in Spokane Washington, I got my start in radio with a fight in school...Yeah no kidding! On my off time I enjoy spending time with my family and friends.
Check out why this bike is being called "stupid tall."
Run for Ribbons fun run on April 27 raises money for fighting cancer right here in Tri-Cities. The 5k and 1-mile walk also promotes awareness and prevention of all forms of cancer.
People are murdered every day! Why do certain trials catch national media attention and others don't? Maybe we'll never know, but the famous ones seem to have the same elements in common: the murderer, or the victim, or both, are attractive. Here are some top examples from history:
I came across these photos this morning, I dare you to try and scroll through these and not laugh. The funniest part, these people actually live among us on this planet!
Sure, drinking alcohol can make you chubby. But if you're afraid it won't make you chubby enough, here's a product you'll want to check out. There's a company in New York that sells wine ice cream. It still tastes like real ice cream, so you can get drunk and eat dessert at the same time!
That got us thinking about other weird foods that don't seem like they would go together. See what we came up with, and add your ideas to the list, below.
It was a close contest, but Dave beat Preston in our last "Fan of the Week" contest. He wins $20 to Subway. This week he faces Mike.
My wife is about to spend $400 on a pair of sneakers because that's what her son wants for Christmas. It's not unusual for families to drop $1,000 per kid on Christmas. I think that's absurd! We didn't have a lot of money growing up, but we didn't lack either. I think Christmas has become too commercialized. We can only blame ourselves for that if we're spending a huge percentage of our annual salary on stuff our kids will only use or play with for a couple of hours. Sometimes it feels like a dump truck full of money. How much do you think is TOO much to give gives for Christmas?
We've got Black Friday (Thursday/Friday) and American Express promotes Small Business Saturday. Cyber Monday grows every year. So charity-minded people are pushing for "Giving Tuesday." Visit GivingTuesday.org to learn more. Several national companies are participating -- including Simon Malls that owns the Columbia Center. If you're making a donation today, who to? Or, if it catches on and your guilt becomes too much, who will you give to?
It's not even December yet, but this video was just to good to pass up. Yes it's set to the obvious choice this year..."Gangnam Style"
I think it's weird to have Thanksgiving dinner at a restaurant. A lot of people do it, however, so I created a poll to get YOUR opinion. Here's what you said:
Yesterday we asked you about the best holiday movies. Come December, these are like beloved members of the family (sometimes we love them more than our families). They make us excited for the holidays, they make us feel warm and fuzzy, sometimes they're just really, really well made. Here's your list:
We've all got our favorites: "Charlie Brown's Christmas," Chevy Chase's "National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation," "It's a Wonderful Life," etc. Several new movies have become instant classics such as "Elf," "Four Christmas's," and Tim Allen's "Santa Claus" series
