Domestic Abuse Photographed by Journalist as It Happens – You Won’t Believe These Pictures

A photojournalist got permission to document a the life of a man trying to put a life together after prison. She followed the man and his girlfriend on a date and then watched as he began to beat her back at the apartment. The photographer’s presence and her camera likely saved the woman from serious harm. The photo essay is engaging, beautiful, artistic and extremely disturbing.
