Heartwarming Facebook Post Proves Life Can Be Joyful After Any Tragedy
A friend from high school shared the above photo of his new-born son yesterday.
Today he shared the post below, which needs a little context.
When we were juniors his mother disappeared for several months. Except for suffering from clinical depression, there was nothing wrong in their home or marriage. She just disappeared one day and no one knew where she went.
Her body was eventually found in a field near their house and it was confirmed she had taken her own life.
What a horrible thing for a teenager to deal with! But my friend’s inner strength carried him through.
By the end of that year he ran for, and was voted in, Student Body President of our 5-A high school. He was a wonderful leader and a friend to all.
