Hiking Badger Early in the Morning Paid Off in Beauty

Sunday’s hike up Badger was a sun-drenched joy. Because I went early it included almost blindingly-white hoar frost on the upper vegetation that was already melting on the trip down. Rain earlier in the week muddied up parts of the trail but freezing temps kept the path from being a mess until it thawed. Dog paw prints blended with shoe & boot tracks to offer 3-D evidence the path was well traveled.
