The weather was absolutely gorgeous Monday afternoon. I took my daughter down to the river to throw rocks in and I just couldn't muster sadness for the lack of snow. If you can't have a white Christmas, the next best thing is a beautiful, sunny Christmas in the Mid-Columbia!

A few weeks ago we decided to find out what the No. 1 Christmas movie of all time was. If you were stuck on a deserted island with nothing but a DVD player, what holiday movie would you bring along? It was predictable that "It's a Wonderful Life," "A Christmas Story" and clay-mation classic "Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer" would be popular, but they're tied at 28 votes each!
