The Rolling Stones pulled into San Jose, Calif. last night (May 8) for a stop on their '50 and Counting' tour, and they brought along some pretty special guests for company.
Could the days of Rolling Stones concerts instantly setting box office records be numbered? While the Stones have always enjoyed robust sales on their prior tours, the Guardian is reporting that tickets to the group's highly anticipated '50 And Counting' tour aren't moving quite as fast as the group may have hoped.
Former Rolling Stone Bill Wyman seems peeved that his time on stage with his former bandmates last fall was capped to five minutes. He played two songs at both London gigs and was then asked to tour America with the band. "I said for two songs? No thank you."
Even while we await word on an expanded U.S. tour, the Rolling Stones have confirmed a date in their native UK -- as headliners at the Glastonbury Festival on June 29.

'Crossfire Hurricane,' the new documentary on the Rolling Stones, will be headed to DVD and Blu-Ray release early next year. Directed by Brett Morgen, the highly acclaimed documentary premiered last month in select theaters as well as multiple airings on HBO. The film features lots of rare and previously unseen footage along with interviews with Mick Jagger, Keith Richards, Charlie Watts, Ronnie Wood and former Stones Bill Wyman and Mick Taylor, as well as the late Brian Jones.
