Doors drummer John Densmore has been making the publicity rounds for his new tell-all memoir, 'The Doors: Unhinged -- Jim Morrison's Legacy Goes on Trial.'
In an interview John Densmore quipped that if a Doors reunion were to occur he would want Jimmy Fallon to fill in for Jim Morrison!
Tuesday I must have been in a contemplative frame of mind. While playing 'Riders On The Storm' I pondered how sad it was for not only the surviving members of 'The Doors' but also for us, the consumers of great music, that Ray Manzarek, John Densmore and Robbie Krieger couldn't keep the band from fading away after the unfortunate, untimely death of iconic lead singer Jim Morrison.

The Doors are getting ready to release the 40th Anniversary of "L.A. Woman" (can you believe it?).
