‘Thunder on the Island’ Was Alive and Partying Wednesday Night!
January 17, 2013 2:53 PM Thanks to EVERYONE that made it to last night’s summer-like fun at the “1/2 Way to” Thunder on the Island Party! Franco was suffering a little vocal chord distress but carried on like a trooper! Add in his AWESOME harmonica chops and the Stingers workin’ it, the night was turned into a “Blues Heaven” on the 4th floor of the Clover Island Inn!
With 97.5 KOOL-FM, 80-degree temps, IHB beer, spirits, hotdogs / hamburgers, TC Americans ticket giveaways and a Summer-Like attitude we did PAR-TAY! Looking forward to the prospect of ‘them’ returning to perform during the Summer FREE music series at the Clover Island Inn – Thunder on the Island – starting in mid-June.
And good luck to ‘Franco Paletta and the Stingers’ as they soon travel to Memphis to compete as a Northwest regional winner in the “International Blues Competition”!
