Fortunately, neither occupant was seriously injured — but it wasn’t a pretty picture!

The Washington State Patrol reports a man hauling five-gallon paint buckets in his SUV lost control and crashed near Belfair, Washington. The vehicle ran off a highway near the city located southwest of Seattle.

The man was taken to a nearby hospital for examination, and a local Humane Society group will care for the dog and help clean him up until the man recovers from some minor injuries. The identity of the driver was not released.
