Popular Kennewick Food Truck Shuts Down—#1 Fan Launches GoFundMe

A popular local food truck has shut down operations due to a mechanical breakdown on the truck.

Affectionately known as "Ol' Messy", the food truck in downtown Kennewick has been sidelined due to a key piece of equipment out of commission.

Hot Mess Burgers and Fries Will Remain Closed for an Indefinite Amount of Time.

With that, NOT SO FAST. There are SUPER-FANS of Hot Mess Burgers and Fries. One of those fans, Jan Mannenga, has launched a fundraising effort to help get the team back up and running.

This GoFundMe isn’t just about fixing equipment - it’s about giving the Hot Mess crew the freedom to take their next step, whatever that looks like. Maybe it’s repairing the truck, maybe it’s a brand new rig, maybe it’s finally putting down roots in a brick-and-mortar.
