Peek Inside the Newly Remodeled Longbranch in Finley

The Longbranch Saloon in Finley is under new ownership! Laurie Winchel, owner of Jackalope Bar & Grill in Kennewick, decided she wasn't busy enough with one bar, so has adopted the well-known Longbranch Saloon. Blood, sweat, and tears have poured into making this beloved bar a revised version of itself.

I had to see it for myself, so I decided to drive out to Finley to feed my curiosity and my belly! I am happy to report, that it did not disappoint! As I pulled up to the old, red barn Saloon, it was just as I remembered it, a well-loved building, that sheltered many memories and good times. It didn't look like much had changed since I had visited last, which was just a few years back. Not until I pulled open those old barn doors and exposed what was inside! WOW, just wow! It smelled of new wood and new adventures!

From the floor up, everything was fresh, new and with the most gorgeous rustic decor, I was in awe! I was given a tour, inside and out and my favorite part was the men's restroom! Yes, the MEN'S restroom! They took an old keg and constructed the coolest urinal ever! The dance floor remained the same, just refinished and breathed life back into! Everything was so shiny, new and yet had such a warm cozy, country feel to it.

Naturally, I had to try the food! I ordered the Smokehouse burger and was grateful I was not on a first date, this is NOT first date food! When I order a burger from a "saloon" this is EXACTLY what I expect to get! A burger that takes two hands to eat, about six napkins, and a big appetite! I managed it, however, and it was AMAZING!
